1. What Data We Collect

We do not knowingly collect payment or financial information at this stage, as Reign Replay does not currently process payments.

2. Our Legal Basis for Processing Your Data

• Contract — processing your account, uploads, and interactions is necessary to provide the Service you've signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — for basic security, fraud/abuse prevention, and improving the Service.
• Consent — where we ask for it specifically (e.g. optional marketing emails, if introduced later).

4. How We Store & Protect Your Data

• Account and platform data is stored via our database and hosting providers (currently Supabase and Vercel).
• Uploaded video clips are stored and streamed via our video hosting provider, Mux.
• We use reasonable technical measures (e.g. encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your data, appropriate to the current scale of the Service.
• No online service can guarantee complete security, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access.

5. Who We Share Data With

We share data with the third-party service providers necessary to run Reign Replay, currently:

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
• Vercel (website hosting)
• Mux (video hosting and streaming)
• Microsoft 365 (business email — support@ and info@ mailboxes)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not currently share data with advertisers.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Account data is kept for as long as your account is active.
• If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except: clips that won a weekly category, which are retained in the public Hall of Fame archive (see Terms of Service, Section 5), and data we're required to retain for legal reasons.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — the personal data we hold about you
• Correct — inaccurate data
• Delete — your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to the Hall of Fame exception above
• Restrict or object — to certain processing
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact info@reignreplay.com. We will aim to respond within one month, as required by law.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data hasn't been handled properly.

8. Cookies

Reign Replay uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and the Service functioning. If analytics or marketing cookies are added later, this section will be updated and a cookie consent banner will be shown as required under UK PECR rules.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service develops. We'll update the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes, aim to notify users directly.
